Family Tree (361Wx354H) - This quilt is a result of a guild challenge to use hospital grade gauze. The gauze behind each portrait has been heavily painted with gold paint, then dried and torn to resemble ancient paper. Other pieces of gauze were dyed in various shades and the quilt was designed to suggest a kimono shape.

Batik Scenes (493Wx483H) - As a new quilter, I was given four little batik squares by my friend, Jay Polozek. I challenged myself to come up with a design using them. I didn't know any better than to use home dec fabrics and powder blue polyester for the sky. Lord help the new quilter

Ascend To Summer (310Wx604H) - Adapted from an original work from artist, Teel Sale's Some Antarctic States. This quilt was made in remembrance of their son, Richard Sale III. It was inducted into the Names Project in a ceremony in Washington, D.C. and now resides with the Names Project Collection in San Francisco.
